From Colombo : - First you can come to Bandarawela (200 Km) from route no 99 and next you should come to Welimada (22 Km) and after pass the Welimada you can come to Bogahakumbura via Keppetipola (15 Km). Then you come along Boralanda road (1 Km) you can visit Alawathugoda Village.

       From Kandy or Nuwaraeliya : -  First you can come to Nuwaraeliya from Kandy (68 Km). Then please came to Kepppetipola (20 Km) and turn Boralanda road and come along Boralanda road 8 Km's and you can visit Alawathugoda.

      When you visit Horton plains, World end or Pattipola you have foot path through  the forest to travel Alawathugoda.
